Our fans knew all the time that our Green Speed™ initiatives has brought forth again an astonishing high-tech machine: The RE™. Due to the derived platform of the Audi R8 from the Audi→Lambor- ghini Gallardo it was simple like 1, 2, 3 to implant the Green Heart™, the Purely Electric™ and Looped Fuel Cell™ Electric :Drivetrain™ of our Elettoro™ Gallardo/Apollo Speed-E™ (SE), into an optimized R8. With its

  • high-effective weight reduction,
  • high performance Active Component™ technologies, like the 2 or 4 electric Active Motors™ mounted in a range of 0 degree (transvers- al) to 90 degrees (longitudinal) to a drive axis as part of our invent- ion of the (Electric) Torque Vectoring™ Active Differentials™,
  • progressive and exclusive front and rear Active Lights™, and also
  • optional Active Sideblade™

    What the public has not seen directly is a detail of our automotive history writing innovation, the Electric Torque Vectoring™ System, that was shown with both of our Electric Super Sports Cars™ RE and Elettoro (Apollo Speed-E): We have also transformed the quattro® philosophy of the marque Audi into the 21st century.

    Proof of Competence
    Our worldwide unique High-tech and High-Speed Competences™ in the field of drivetrains shown for example with our Purely Electric Torque Vectoring™ Active Differential™ #2 in the version with two electric motors, an Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system, and a Brake Energy Recovery System (BERS) at one axle has been proven by setting the electric road car lap record on the worldwide hardest test and race track for automobiles, the Nurburgring Nordschleife/ Northern Loop, twice. While the Electric Sports Car™ prototyp of a university research project sponsored by the corporation Volkswagen among some others already set the lap record for electric road cars in 2011, our RE built up by the quattro factory broke the lap record once again in 2012. 100% #1
